Therapist

Avery Wageman is a compassionate therapist who creates a safe and supportive space for healing and growth. Specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), she tailors her approach to each client’s unique needs, ensuring they feel heard, understood, and empowered. Avery believes therapy is a collaborative journey and is dedicated to helping clients navigate life’s challenges with warmth and care. Outside of the therapy room, she shares her insights through a mental health blog and finds peace in nurturing her plants through horticultural therapy.

Christine Amerson, LPC

Christine Amerson is a compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor with a heart for helping children and adolescents grow, heal, and thrive. With 20 years of experience in education and six years as a school counselor, she has worked with young individuals ages 3 to 21, guiding them through life’s challenges with patience and understanding. Christine specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and behavior therapy, with a special focus on autism, defiance, brain-based interventions, goal setting, and anxiety. She believes in meeting each child where they are, using a supportive and evidence-based approach to help them build confidence, resilience, and the skills they need to succeed.

Sue Smith is a dedicated  biligual Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for helping individuals overcome life’s challenges and achieve personal growth. With experience working with veterans, military spouses, and college students, she provides compassionate support tailored to each client’s unique needs. Sue specializes in goal-oriented counseling, focusing on anxiety, depression, career transitions, and adjustment difficulties. She blends therapeutic techniques with practical strategies to help clients build resilience, develop coping skills, and create meaningful change. As a bilingual (English/Spanish) counselor, Sue offers a culturally sensitive space where individuals feel heard, understood, and empowered to thrive.
